Jiahao received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from North China Electric Power University in 2019 and 2025, respectively. He was a visiting Ph.D. student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA, from 2024 to 2025. During his doctoral studies, he focused on the fundamental modeling of power system frequency dynamics and developed several example applications. Luckily, his thesis was nominated for the Best Doctoral Dissertation (top 10 nationwide) by the China Electrotechnical Society.
In the end of 2025, he relocated to Ireland to join University College Dublin as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He is currently advancing the application of the Complex Frequency to unify the description of voltage and frequency stability.
Jiahao is a road bike rider, co-caretaker of a cat named Captain, and an INFJ.
